How to remove your 2002 to 2007 Trailblazer Grill

The whole process should take you about 15 minutes to complete

There are seven clips that hold on the grill: four across the top, (two on each corner and two about half way to the center), one on each of the bottom corners, and one in the center (behind the bow tie logo). What I did is spray the seven clips with some silicone spray before I began to remove the grill. It doesn't take a lot of force to pop each clip. I started at the top left corner and worked my way across the top. Then pop each corner bottom clip, and finally the center clip popped. The chrome strip is attached to the black grill, so you will have to pop the two clips that hold the ends of the chrome strips to the headlights the grill and chrome strip is now removed. The chrome strip is held to the black grill with two 3/8 spring clip nuts. You do not have to remove the head lights. Even though now is a perfect time to change or even upgrade your head light bulbs. Swap your chrome strip onto your new grill and replace.
