How to Embed Youtube Videos into Your Auction HTML

Recently, Youtube started using the iframe tag in their HTML markup language to embed Youtube Videos into websites.  Unfortunately, Ebay doesn't allow the usage of the iframe tag, so we have to go back to the old embed object code, which is very easy if you have worked with HTML markup language before...

Below is a Generic Youtube Embed Video Code to use in Ebay Auction's "use your own HTML" section...  Replace XXXXXXXXXXX with the 11 character code of your Youtube Video you wish to see in your Auction HTML Description...

For example, in the following web address, we would use the 11 characters after the "=" sign to replace XXXXXXXXXXX - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aaaE5EtcLc

Plug those 11 characters (2aaaE5EtcLc) in place of the XXXXXXXXXXX in 2 locations in the above code and you have the following...

In this case, you would embed a Youtube Video of my Kellogg's Star Wars Episode III Darth Vader Cookie Jar I have/had up for Auction on Ebay...
I hope this helps, since just a simple video on Youtube can help many more People find your Auction on Ebay.  Also, use Picassa to upload your photos of your Auction Items to - since Youtube and Picassa are owned by Google, adding your content to both websites can only increase traffic to your Ebay Auctions, which can only increase bids and/or sales...
