4 channel R/C Co-Axial Helicopters
I purchased the 4 channel Exceed R/C Blazing Star helicopter (left) on eBay. After that I got a Walkera #53-1 on eBay which the Blazing Star is a copy of. These are complete with metal upgrades and completely interchangeable. These are "Co-Axial Design" which means they don't rely on the tail because of the two sets of rotor blades.
These, with the metal upgrades are $129.99. Don't get caught with all plastic parts in the rotor section at the same price.
The most important thing about these 15" R/C Helicopters is they need DEAD CALM to fly safely or CRASH AND BURN. You can get the helicopter to hover great but the slightest wind currents and you have a circular motion which causes loss of control. These can actually fall out of the sky with wind of 5 MPH or more.
Lookup these up online and YouTube and you will see flights inside a Gym. Forget about RTF (Ready to Fly).
Remember, If you are a newcomer to this hobby, NO WIND!
