When receiving your shipment, it is very important that you examine the products thoroughly for any damage. Freight damage is very rare, the manufacturer and Embers Fireplaces and Grills does their best to package in a way that will eliminate damage but damage can still occur.  Inspect the freight while the driver is present and make note of any possible damage on the Bill of Lading. If any packaging looks torn or damaged or the pallet is damaged, please write “POSSIBLE  DAMAGE” on the Bill of Lading.  Embers Fireplaces and Grills ships exclusively with plastic banding, so please make a note on the Bill of Lading if the shipment arrives with metal banding.  Count all parts to make sure there is nothing missing.   If an item is missing, please write “MISSING PART” and the part number or description on the Bill of Lading.  Ask the driver to initiate a Claim Form for you on any problems in order to secure your rights. Once Materials are signed for and no damage is recorded. Product becomes buyers property and responsibility
