New DESTINY'S BOUNTY - Ninjago Lego 9446 - Wu Zane Jay Garmadon Skales Slithraa!
Welcome to my listing for a brand new and factory-sealed Destiny's Bounty lego set from the 2012 Ninjago series. This awesome set is now discontinued and no longer available in stores; it is increasingly hard to find, especially in unopened condition, and would make a great addition to any lego collection (especially for fans of Ninjago or the Castle & Ninja themes)! It contains 684 pieces, including six minifigures (spinjitzu master Sensei Wu, apprentice ninjas Zane & Jay in their Kendo armor, the evil Lord Garmadon, and the snake warriors Skales & Slithraa of the Hypnobrai Tribe). You'll receive a huge variety of Ninjago weapons, from a magical staff to katanas, crossbows, and a trio of golden blades, as well as everything needed to assemble the legendary flying ship Destiny's Bounty, the mobile fortress that has long served Sensei Wu and his ninja pupils as both a place of refuge and devastating weapon of war!
While most vessels that travel the seas or skies are gifted with but one life to live, the Destiny's Bounty has been destroyed and then rebuilt on more than one occasion, resurrected through the tireless labors of the ninjas and their noble allies. The ship's form has changed with the passage of years, but in her current incarnation she measures over 16 inches (43 cm) from bow to stern, with a mast that stands more than 10" (26 cm) tall, and a pair of dragon wing sails that open outward to reach beyond 11" (30 cm) from port to starboard. Projecting from her bow is a mighty ram carved in the likeness of the mythical fire dragon, and amidships she mounts a heavy cannon. The Destiny's Bounty is the ninjas' home and sanctuary, and she will fight to protect her crew.
Though swift and sure upon the seas, the ship's true strength lies in her unique ability to sail the skies above. With the flick of a switch, four massive jet engines rotate into position and ignite in eruptions of golden fire, freeing the Destiny's Bounty from the grasp of the waves and propelling her skyward with irresistible force. Once aloft, her sails are realigned to serve as wings, providing lift and balance as she surges forward on jets of flame.
On this fiery dawn, the Destiny's Bounty descends from the morning sky, silhouetted against the rising sun as she swoops down on her prey like a great winged predator of terrifying size and speed. The ninjas have chosen this day to seize from the Serpentine Hypnobrai Tribe their legendary golden staff, within which is contained the antidote to the snake warriors' mesmerizing powers of hypnotism and mind control.
The Hypnobrai staff rests in a Serpentine shrine carved into the rocky shore above a roiling sea. Ensconced beneath a graven serpent's head, the magical artifact is bathed in streams of pale green venom, deathly poisonous even to the touch. Yet its most formidable defenses are not this toxic ooze, nor even the Hypnobrai general Skales and his lieutenant Slithraa. Rather, it is the surprise appearance of the diabolical Lord Garmadon, the four-armed monstrosity come to aid his Serpentine allies, that most threatens to bring an early end to the ninjas' plan and perhaps their very lives.
As the Destiny's Bounty splashes down amidst the waves, Zane and Jay leap ashore with katana, ninja claw, and sai raised to the attack. Sensei Wu has just enough time to fire a devastating close-range blast from the ship's cannon, before the opposing warriors clash in a whirling tempest of sharpened steel and gleaming fangs. While the battle's outcome is surely in doubt, one thing is already certain: for all of Ninjago, this will be a day to remember!

Return policy details
All the Lego and Playmobil sets I sell are guaranteed to be brand new in unopened, factory-sealed packages (very rarely a factory seal is torn or broken in handling or shipment before the item comes into my possession; while this represents only cosmetic damage to the external packaging, it is always noted in the item description for the affected item). Because none of the items I sell have previously been opened, in the very rare case of a missing or defective component (in 7+ years of selling Lego and Playmobil sets on eBay, I have never known this to occur) responsibility lies with the manufacturer and returns of opened items will not be accepted for this reason. Any unopened item may be returned within two weeks of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price. If you plan on returning an item, please contact me first and let me know the reason for the return, as well as the shipping method you will be using. All refunds will be sent through PayPal to the address from which payment was originally received. Refunds will not include the shipping charge unless the return is due to an error on my part (for example, if the wrong item was shipped), in which case the original shipping charge will be refunded, and the buyer compensated for the actual postage cost of return shipment (by a standard, non-expedited shipping method such as 1st Class Mail, USPS Parcel Post, or UPS Ground; international buyers should generally return smaller items by standard airmail, and larger ones by surface mail).
