This mountable TomTom GPS navigator comes with TomTomÂ’s EasyPort mount that allows multi-direction turning and can be folded flat after use. This automotive GPS receiver features IQ Routes technology that considers all possible routes while avoiding main roads and decides the shortest route. This TomTom GPS navigator allows connection to the SUNA Traffic Channel with TomTomÂ’s TMC antenna and uses text-to-speech technology to clearly and accurately read out the names of streets that you approach. The TomTom XL 340 lets you adjust, add, and share maps with fellow TomTom users through the Map Share and HOME software. | |

) The machine is excellent so why do I rate it 1/5 overall? Because it is wrritten in the description that the item does text'to-speech, basically that it announces the street name. This machine does not do that. Not after updating it, installing new software, contacting the manufacturer or anything else. It plainly does not do that.
Ebay MUST fix the description to remove this deceptive ad.

) great item volume is very audible contrast of the screen is perfect. quick mapping doesn't get lost in the city

I have owned a few others GPS's and by far this ie the best I have ever owned. The last one I had was stolen so I bought another TomTom. This GPS is very easy to setup and work with.
