These trucks are very tuff, My dad and I bought 2 of these to race with my nephew who has a old RC10T in the back yard on a track that we made, we bash these things, hit stuff and they just keep on going I'm very impressed by how much they will actually take, plus I've never had a truck or anything RC handle this good, it tracks very well, and is very well balanced it stays on its wheels much better than the RC10Ts that I used to race at a local track back in the early 90s with a bunch of other guys. They have really came along ways since then, but I can honestly say we are both very pleased with these trucks and would highly recommend them for someone wanted to race with your friends in the backyard or to go race pro with a bunch of other guys, it is just a great truck all around

Are we having fun yet?

What hobby do you take up when retiring at 70 year young? Well something that does not hurt when you crash and oh, it cant cost too much.
My plan was to purchase a used something to get my feet wet and then take on the stock class in a semi competitive nature. So I bought a used SC10 RTR, sprung for a transponder and a decent Li-po charger with a couple of new batteries, and a set of Barcode greens.
WOW! This was too much fun for any grown man. In-door SCT tracks are the only way to fly. Its now four months later and time to purchase a new complete roller chassis. How can you beat $100 for everything but the body.
Now after wining many "B" mains and running in the middle of the "A" main pack I have been bitten by the "I want to win an A main bug" and have even purchase a new servo to help steer this new car to victory. Still running the original ESC and brushless motor that came with the stock trunk.
This NEW SC10 roller chassis was the best buy on Ebay.
Thanks

Short course truck review
Created: 10/07/10
if your looking a all the short course trucks out there this one is one of the best. the biggest drawback for me is you need all standard tools and not metric tools to work on this truck and no 12mm hex driven wheels. it handles better than a slash and better than a blitz.

Excellent short course racing truck.
I bought it to race in a club and i love it. Its been reliable and is easy to drive around our club track, which is dirt with some sharp corners and big and small jumps too. Easy to control in the air and so far nothing has broken, considering i have rolled and crashed quite a few times.
I'm not a pro at racing but i know some people with HPI and TEAM LOSI trucks and the TEAM ASSOCIATED SC10 is as good as any thing out there.
Well worth buying for track days and for bashing with mates too!!!!

Team Associated SC10, great truck
Created: 07/02/10
After a little research into short course trucks I decided on the SC10 and wasn't disappointed. For the price you really can't beat it. Be prepared to do some tuning to get it race worthy. It is NOT the truck to buy for backyard bashing though as it won't suffer many hits with rocks and trees...it's designed for the track.
Extra parts I would suggest having on hand:
Front A-arms
Rear A-Arms
Shock oil
Either fuel tubing or shock O-rings for the outdrives and carriers.
