I bought this club so I can improve my golf game. I like this because you can adjust the loft with Flight Control Technology (FCT) and face angle with Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP) technology to promote greater distance. I don't have any negative feedback at the moment. I just love the R11 product no questions ask.

Accurate club! perfect to hit on the fairways and on the tee box, when you're missing with your driver.
I bought this club so I can improve my long fairways shots, plus when my driver is missing I use this club as my back up on the tee box. I like this because you can adjust the loft with Flight Control Technology (FCT) and face angle with Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP) technology to promote greater distance. I don't have any negative feedback at the moment. I just love the R11 product no questions ask. No comparison to any other 3 wood because the competitors are not adjustable.

Better than expected, The 'hype' of the club is actually warranted.

I received the club just recently, and left the next day for a golf trip in Hawaii.. I had been using a Cleveland 15* fairway metal prior to this for 4 years and still love the club. I have applied any adjustments to the R11 Fairway 3 metal just to be clear.
I am typically a 12 handicap with a 265 - 275 drive using a R9 8.5* club. All my clubs are regular flex and my swing speed is 98 - 101.. Also, to qualify this I played 5 rounds of 27 holes on 4 different course at different altitude.
Ok, about the club.. Its lighter than the Cleveland and with a smaller head. Off the heel it is very forgiving.. Off the center it is quite a performer.. I typically get about 220 with my fairway 3 metal and this was no different, however, the ability to shape a shot is apparent over the Cleveland. I also am not quite used to the club so I have to say I did not put a full 100% into the swing of the club and that is for two reasons. I did not want to whiff it and since I was getting the distance I needed with less of a swing I decided to work on shot shaping which really produced very good results.
I don't know that white body changed much for me, but it is an attractive club, and no glare from the face of the club I thought was a plus. It has a distinct striking sound. I found it to work in low rough quite well and I would typically use an iron to work my way out of rough as the larger body of the Cleveland 3 fairway metal was much more likely to be affected by two inch rough than the R11.
Due to the tightness of the courses and wind, I used this more than my driver even though the stock loft is 15.5* playing a bit back in my stance and the general control a wood offers it what I needed it to do.
Why did I switch.. Shot shaping. What surprised me most about the club.. How comfortable I became with a new club even in a competitive environment. Distance - the average player can likely get more yardage out of it but, the real quality is its shot shape ability.

Adjust your shot bias, get used to the white head and swing away, it works.

The R11 FCT/ASP fairway wood w/Blur shaft has been an awesome addition to my sons golf bag!! He had to learn how to hit the club, once he got used to the white head he now hits it 240-250 yards and has a slow swing tempo. I bought this club looking to adjust his draw he still draws the ball set at Neutral -1* position, we tried the open -1* and he drew to much. So the adjustments on THE R11 do work! I like the clubs looks and feel dislike the white head but you get used to it. This product is as good or better than any fairway wood we have ever hit and there have been several.

TAYLOEMADE R 11 FAIRWAY WOODS ARE GREAT! THE ADJUSTABLE SHAFT WORKS WELL TO CHANGE THE LOFT, THE ADJUSTMENT OF THE FACE ANGLE IS QUESTIONABLE, IT ONLY WORKS ON FLAT SMOOTH GROUND WITCH YOU SELDOM HAVE ON A FAIRWAY. ALL AND ALL I DO LOVE THE FEEL AND LOOKS OF THE CLUB.
