    Product Information
Four-player action fighter, starring 12 Nintendo mascots, including Mario, Luigi, Fox, Link, Samus, Pikachu, Jigglypuff and Captain Falcon. All the action takes place on one screen, from a zoomed out third-person perspective more reminiscent of old-school platformers than traditional fighting games. The premise is as simple as the controls. Beat up you opponents and knock them off the fighting platform to score a point. The more damage your opponents sustain, the farther you can throw them. Apart from the quick, but explosive mayhem that ensues when more than one player has at it, the game manages to bring back many fond gaming memories by bombarding players with familiar items, power-ups and many classic tunes.

    Super Smash Bros. Forever

This is an iconic N64 classic. Play as and fight with 12 Nintendo© characters in an epic battle royal. Take advantage of items and individualized special moves to outwit — or just plain overpower — your opponent.

It was an innovation in multiplayer gameplay. You're a part of a controlled chaos that has been unmatched since. It has just enough features to give it near infinite replay value, but it doesn't overwhelm you with useless options like its sequels.

This game is the reason people across the world are still using their N64s, and it's really due to the fact that it excels more than any other game in the most important category: player interaction. There's nothing like getting together with some friends to throw each other into oblivion. The players are not just subject to the action, they create it. That gets the players invested in the game to a far greater extent than most other linear-narrative games.

    Great fun. Five stars.

    Awesome Game

This is a truely awesome game that combines a lot of classic characters and lets them use their own powers or abilities from their own games. For example, this game features the character Link from the legend of zelda series and he can use his sword to fight off enimies. There are many more powers that are both normal and magic but for those who haven't played this game yet, I don't want to give anything away. This game also has an awesome multiplayer system which lets up to four players fight against eachother, or just against other computer players.

From a huge video game lover this is truely one of the greatest n64 games ever created!

    GREAT game.

This game is one of my favorite games ever, and not just for the N64. You can play as a variety of different fantasy characters (my favorite is Link from Zelda but they also have Mario, Luigi, Pikachu, Starfox, and more). You essentially just beat each other up and each character has a wide range of individual moves (Link, for example, has a sword that can be used many different ways, he can throw bombs, he can grab other characters with his grip hook and then throw them, he can do a sort of whirlwind move while in midair... awesome :D). You can play on (if my memory serves me) 10 different courses each having different layouts and backgrounds. In addition to this there a bunch of different weapons that frequently drop down into the field of battle that can be used to bash your opponents. These include ray guns, invincibility stars, bats, shells (both red and green), DK's hammer, star rods, fire flowers, and many, many more.

In short - if you like a game that requires little thinking but involves a good deal of simple strategy as well as getting to beat up on other characters then get this game.

    My Super Smash Bros. Review

Super Smash Bros. was the beggining of a new game revolution.
It's not the best fighting game, but a great multiplayer game.
Play this in multiplayer mode with 3 friends and you'll find yourself playing this game for hours.

Now for why the 4/5 Excellent rating.

(4/5) Gameplay - The Single player mode I don't recommend, unless you want to unlock a secret character. However, the multiplayer mode is amazing. Non-stop action packed fun that can last for hours. Grab 3 of our friends, pick up those controls and start playing. The controls are simple, but it may take time to be able to learn how to combo move your enemies and learn all the moves. Overall the control are simple.

(5/5) Graphics - 64 bit and you can definatly see it! In comparison to all other N64 games, this one tops them all.

(5/5) Sound - All the classics are in there.

(4/5) Value - It's well worth it! The single player mode isn't all that great, but the multiplayer mode is amazing! Theres always room for improvement in games.

Super Smash Bros. 1st one of the series on N64

Just imagine mario kickin the S*** out of jiggly puff in 64-bit graphics no less. Sounds like a great stress reliever huh? If you like the smash brothers series, I would definitely recommend this game. Some of the mechanics of this game are different from the last 2, but overall its still the same fun. There are a total of 12 players, 4 being secret characters, you start out with 8. I would recommend playing this and all 64 games on a CRT TV. (Basically a non-HD non-LCD TV) I am know there are ways to making the picture good on a LCD TV, but it is just easier to play on an older set. Any who, to try and not to get off topic here: Super Smash bros. I really can't say more. The only compliant I have ever had about this game is that 12 characters... is just way too few.(characters in game are: Mario (duh right?) Samus, Link, Pikachu, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Fox McCloud and Kirby. 4 secret characters are Luigi, Ness (from Earthbound) Captain Falcon and you guessed it... the most anticipated fighting nintendo character in all the history of gaming..........Jiggly puff!!!(..... I cant talk bad about him. He will put me to sleep and draw things on my face.)
