Shirahime Syo: Snow Goddess Tales by Clamp (2003, Hardcover)

This is yet another masterpiece by "CLAMP".
Needless to say that I'm a huge fan of CLAMP's works. They are amazing and their stories are absolutely breathtaking.
Shirahime-Syo is a collection of short stories, all related to the snow. All of them are tragic and sad, but they all contain Hope.
Once you read the beginning, as well as all of the stories + the Epilogue ( which is obviously, at the end of the manga ) CLAMP's snow secret will be revealed.
I enjoyed this book A LOT and I definitely suggest reading it to anyone who loves CLAMP. If you're their fan, you'll definitely love this book.

I am a huge CLAMP fan and Shirahime-Syo is an earlier work that I had wanted for awhile. It is a hard-bound collection of short stories, all of which are tied together nicely at the end. I really enjoyed reading it, though it is a pretty short read; it took me about 20 minutes to finish. The artwork is a bit older, but overall it is worth picking up.

I decided to buy because it is made by CLAMP. As in all Clamp works, the art is beautiful, the flow of the stories is impecable even though they are short stories, and they manage to get you attached to the characters in a very short time. I enjoyed reading it and I'm glad I bought it to add to my Clamp collection. Only thing I didn't like (but I knew before hand) is that all the stories are sad, but what can you expect from snow? People do relate snow to sadness. And the last story (previous to the epilogue) was actually beautiful, that one made me cry... the "foreword" and "epilogue" were great also. I'm all around pleased with this purchase.

The story was lovely and the art was amaizing. If youre a fan of CLAMPs works, this is defenetly one fopr the collection.
