The Samsung Spinpoint F1 750 GB SATAII hard drive employs innovative SMART Technology that monitors reliability and capability of the device. This internal hard drive has a high Spindle speed of 7200 RPM, and Seek Time and Average Latency of 4.17ms and 8.9ms, respectively for efficient functioning. The 32MB buffer cache aids in smooth and effective operation. The Samsung Spinpoint F1 750 GB SATAII hard drive is also durable having MTBF of 600,000 hours.

    The hard drive has a faster seek and write time than my 500g WD hard drive.Transferring large files to other partitions is twice as fast. so far I have no problems with this drive. I would give it 5 stars.

    I HAVE 5. I COULD END IT THERE WITH NUFF SAID, BUT I LIKE TO WRITE! I use them in a pair of 2 bay enclosures. They run cool they are quiet. They are fast they have never made a mistake or failed in 6 months used. I have a mac and a lot of movies tv shows music. If you use sans digital enclosures or rosewill enclosures or ministacks they work if you use macs they work. I can't mention pc's because I have never used them with a pc. I like samsung hdd's a lot I have a 2.5 inch 500gb hdd in my mac mini. it works well.
