Samsung HL-S5687W 56" 1080p HD DLP Television

I have this same model but the 61 inch. The picture is absolutely beautiful from high def sources. With plenty of connections including a USB connection which Samsung calls Wiselink (ables you to connect a portable media player to watch pictures and slideshows on your t.v.). With 4 dedicated (2 HDMI and 2 component) HD inputs you can truly get the most out of your set. Samsung now have several other models out which uses LED technology instead of the color wheel which will bring the prices down to make it more affordable for people just getting into the HD scene. All and all, its worth the money for people just starting out.

I personally love that it is 1080p at 56 inch size which is a nice size without being too large for my living room. Also like the fact that it has replaceable
projection bulbs to restore quality of picture if needed. Bulbs can be a bit pricey though. Have to sit directly in front of tv to get best viewing experience.
This is my first DLP HDTV that I bought used on EBAY and Samsung made a 5-star
product hit with me on this one!

The TV arrived in perfect condition within 30 hours of being sent out despite having to travel 1300 miles. The price was half what Best Buy or Circuit City were charging for the exact same product. It sits perfectly on the $90 stand I bought at Wal-Mart, which also looks great. And maybe the best part is I didn't realize it worked as a PC monitor, but that is what I am doing with it at this very second. I couldn't imagine being happier with the experience.

Have a couple of buddy's who have this TV who bought this tv new for over $2500. One of the best DLP's on the market. Excellent picture quality for a 2006 model. The prior owner did not use this tv very often its in new tv condition.
