Bought NcStar before so I knew the brand. Have to say it's a great scope. Nice finish, good ret and optics, turrets work well. The quick release is also very good. The only negative is the illuminated ret, but that's like all lower end scopes, to bright and just illuminates the hole tube, chances are you aren't buying for low-light shooting so this won't matter anyway. Comes with rubber bikini cover too.
All in all a great package at a very good price.

) excellent for .223 cartridge, made for any ar platform, but if used on a short barreled rifle, excpect to miss out on the bulseye a lot... quick release handle is sturdyer than i anticipated, as solid as if scope was mounted with rings... the incorporated laser has started to flicker...i anticipated as much with add on gadgets...better learn to live without it from day one...the blue illuminated reticle is pretty cool. it was worth the price i paid.

this item is perfect and easy to use... the quick release for the sight is best for using from one riffle to another.... best way to have a scope.
