The best robotic vacuum cleaner

I was fascinated with the futuristic concept that a robotic vacuum represent, in addition to the help it gives around the house. Because of that, I purchased one from a different brand in November 2011. It remained under my ownership for almost for 5 months, 4 of them being fixed as it kept breaking down. At the end I returned it back.
Due the reputation of iRobot, and the fact that I was still fascinated with a robotic vacuum cleaner, I got this Roomba 770.
In a family house, the Roomba not enough to clear the house, but it’s perfect to clean the hair and dust off the flour without any effort and keep the energy to the major weekly cleaning.
I’ve had the Roomba for almost a month. During this month, my wife and kids went on a trip and I’m living alone. The Roomba is perfect for single working people who don’t have time to clean the flour.
The drawbacks are the maintenance Roomba requires and its expensive price.

Accept it for what it is and you will be very happy. A worthwhile purchase

All told a pretty good device. Accept it for what it does well and you will be very happy. We are very busy people and just having this little guy doing the work (his name is "Buddy") has made a big difference. He also cleans under beds and any furniture he can get under! But, he doesn't do stairs or get rid of ceiling cobwebs (no free lunch there).

We have a golden retriever so are definitely a worst case scenario when it comes to dog hair. Once you get ahead of the dog hair the Roomba works fairly well. The rollers do get wrapped up with dog hair periodically but the tools that are provided for cleaning the rollers mostly work well. I think iRobot still has a little design work to do on the part of the roller that has the yellow cap over it in this regard -- getting dog hair out from under that requires a needle nose pliers to remove what gets wrapped around the roller. I also wish the dirt receptacle was a little bigger.

I love the Roomba and can't live without her now!!!!

We purchased the Roomba cleaner because we are retired and have cleaned enough in our lifetime. We have dark wood floors and tile throughout. We thought this would allow us to go longer between vacuuming and damp mopping. It does allow us that luxury. It always finds dust...and hair... We love the schedule feature. Whether we are home or not she gets out of her base and starts cleaning without further instructions. I haven't found anything that I dislike about her. For me this is a product I will now never be able to live without....so yes I will definitely replace her when the time comes.

Best picker upper for a dog owner.

We have a dog that sheds and he loves his doggie biscuits this is the best product I have ever purchased for daily sweep throughs of the house. No more hair clumps or pieces of dog treats laying around. Perfect for our household.

Very useful gadget

It is not only toy, ROOMBA really works! Good cleans. You can do big cleaning at home more seldom. Roomba can clean in hard-to-reach places: under furniture (tub, bed, bath), on furniture. Good collect pets hairs. Good passability.
Don't see small steps. You should hand clean roomba (not problem). It's horror for cat.
It's my first robotic cleaner, so can't compare with other. I am very glad by purchase and can recommend it.
P.S. Roomba my most favorite and useful gadget.
