Built with an aluminum ring, it may get stuck a bit more than German filters made of brass in extreme weather, easily avoided by not over-tightening. Hoya filters tend to be a bit annoying to clean successfully compared to their better counterparts.

) this filter is excellent for its price, it feels a little bit plasticly but the result is very good, the sky can looks darker and i can see details over clouds, and ofcourse now i can remove reflections from non metalic objects.
I also noticed that it removes sun lights from objects, so i can capture for example a tree without the white shine over it.

The product itself is great, cheap but does it's job wonderful. Pictures taken with it are just like they are in the add. Removes reflection even from the flash (bult-in and external) so I'm using it in the indoors as well. The only thing that could be improved is if the produst would come with the cap to protect the filter when mounted.
HOYA (0556) 58mm Filter quality also yields fine results at use in a photo.
