Black & Decker 3-Cup Rice Cooker

I DON'T COOK but this little rice cooker works great for me. A big point to remember is that this is Not to cook 3 cups of Un-cooked rice. The rice Swells during cooking To make 3 cups. It comes with instructions (I needed them) and a measuring device. Water lines are clearly marked in the cooker. INSTRUCTIONS HAVE AN ERROR THAT I CALLED B&D TO CLEAR UP. - VERY IMPORTANT !!! - INSTRUCTIONS SAY ADD THE MEASURED RICE TO THE COOKER THEN ADD WATER. THAT IS WRONG !!! THE INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD SAY ADD WATER TO THE COOKER THEN ADD THE RICE TO THE WATER IN THE COOKER. VERY IMPORTANT !!!

I love this little cooker and it is more than enough for one person (I like a lot of rice) and probably great for 2 maybe 3 people depending on your appetite for rice in one meal. There is no stirring during cooking. Just put the ingredients in, stir them up, plug it in and hit the cook button. Even "I" can do that much.

Don't leave the rice in the container more than a very few minutes after the cook light goes to the warm light or it will get crusty on the bottom. Leave it too long and it will turn the crust BROWN.

I give it 6 on a scale of 5.

This excellent little cooker doesn't cook just rice, you can also use it to safely and quickly heat any other small portions, such as corn, beans, soups, sauces, or even dips.
I use it all the time, great product!

This rice cooker is the perfect size for a small family or to fix rice for a 1 person serving. The non stick liner of the steamer cooks all different kinds of rice and it comes out perfectly. You can start the rice and then prepare the other dishes you are cooking and know your rice will come out perfectly and stay warm until you are ready to use it for the meal.

Cooks rice like a charm! For two people, I am able to cook the perfect amount. The only negatives where I am concerned are the "measuring" cup and not having to have the option of turning off the warming feature. Other than that, it is great! Haven't used the steaming part yet as I usually use the old steamer and pan method on the stove. I would recommend this product for a friend/family member who need to make a small amount of rice at a time.

I love this rice cooker. I really don't like to cook, but this is so easy to use that I actually cook more.
It's also very easy to clean and store as well. Great product!
