I purchased this book because of what I saw in Joel Osteen on TV, his enthusiasm and faith in God the Father, Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ was so right on. If I were to die today my last will and testament would be for everyone in my family and all my loved ones to read and incorporate the principles in this book into there daily lives. I've purchased 5 of Joel's books so far for myself and family and plan to buy one for each member of my family and, I recommend it to friends also. The simple principles in this easy to read book are based on the Holy Bible which I believe to be the Word of God. If God is with us who can be against us? The principles shared within this book work if you work them, I know I've experienced them first hand as has Joel. Iam a recovered alcoholic and a Grateful Member of Alcoholic's Anonymous which is probably the largest self help group around. God grant me serenity....is the beginning of a prayer we use daily in AA. I believe God is truly the only one that can grant use true serenity and hope that you come to realize this too. Iam convinced that the success of Alcoholics Anonymous is based on God and principles used that are very much like the ones explained in Joel's book. God our Father loves us all and wants Your Best Life Now! Reading Joel's book gives down to earth detailed examples of how God works in our lives.

Fear not, trust in God your Heavenly Father and expect preferential treatment in all your affairs. Amen

Kevin Coleman "When The Student Is Ready"

I purchased this book for myself to help with my walk of faith. It is an easy to understand book with 7 steps to follow on how to live in our ever changing world. If you question what the Bible says and how we should live to get closer to God, this is a good book to start with. The author uses personal experiences and gives suggestions as to how it relates to the Bible and God's teachings. I have read the book twice and will read it again - each time getting more out of it as it relates to my own life. As you read through the pages, think of ways God has spoke to you and what your reaction has been. The author helps us see different ways of looking at things and offers suggestions on how to get closer to God - a God who loves us unconditionally and understands where we are and helps us get to where we could be. There is nothing I didn't like about the book and would suggest it to anyone - whether you are a young teen or retired.

I decided to buy this book because I have watched Joel Osteen on his television Broadcast in LakeWood Church. I think that that was one of the best decision i'ved made. His book was inspiring. It uplifts you. It teaches you the importance of forgiving of letting go hurts of the past. Which a lot of us can relate to. It gives you a new perspective to life. He's optimism and Great faith helps us to see life in lighter view. It teaches us to never give up, no matter how dark the situation may be. I think that he's a very genuine person with very strong beliefs. This way l loved the book so much.
You should check it out. It will change your view in life.

This book helped me live the 20 happiest months of life! After the Bible it is one of the 10 most important books in my life. I did not get new information, but directed in simple ways to EXERCISE, SHOW, DECLARE my faith in the Lord. It works! It really works.

I have preached on the 7 steps and gotten more out it and others are entering into the joy of the Lord and their best life now! What a better witness for the Lord Jesus than being a happy, smiling, hopeful, expectant Christian.

I had watched Joel Osteen on tv one evening and found his message to be very uplifting. Over the past few years, I had heard that this book was on the best seller's list for weeks and the reviews I had read were more than positive.
I was not disappointed. Joel Osteen translates the scriptures into everyday living.
I highly recommend this book for anyone needing a little encouragement in their life.
