A Blazing Good Time

This was a gift for my husband who loves the Young Guns movies. He had the first and was showing it to a friend who grew up in New Mexico where most of the action takes place. My hubby had decided to rent the sequel so he and his friend could see it too. He was so pleased by this movie. If you like Old West History, especially Billy the Kid and friends/enemies, you will like this movie. A bit bloody for my taste but nothing as bad as they have onscreen today.
P.S. While my hubby and friends were watching this, friend's wife and I went shopping so it can be enjoyable for the wives too. :)

Young Guns 2

Young Guns II is a 1990 western film, and the sequel to Young Guns (1988). It stars Emilio Estevez, Kiefer Sutherland, Lou Diamond Phillips, Christian Slater, and features William Petersen as Pat Garrett. It was written and produced by John Fusco and directed by Geoff Murphy.

It follows the life of William H. Bonney aka Billy the Kid (played by Emilio Estevez), in the years following the Lincoln County War in which Billy was part of "The Regulators" — a group of around 6 highly skilled gunmen avenging the death of John Tunstall — and the years before Billy's documented death. The film, however, is told by Brushy Bill Roberts, a man who in the 1940s appeared claiming to be the real Billy the Kid.

This is an awesome movie!

It ain't your gang Dave

I didn't think it was possible to put more catchy one liners in this movie than in the first Young Guns, but they do it quite well. As far as sequels go in my opinion, it's better than the original.
It finishes up the story of Billy Kid and opens the mystery of whether or not he was really killed by his friend Pat Garrett on that fateful day.

Great movie!

Helps tell the story very well. We recently visited Lincoln, NM and heard the story of Billy The Kid and watched Young Guns and was ready to watch Young Guns II, Not everything is true in the movie but they do a really great job!!!
