This version of the Flash Yongnuo speedlight YN-465 primarily intended for use with cameras Nikon. With this system cameras YN-465 supports i-TTL mode and manual. The flash does not support TTL-mode cameras Nikon D100 D50 D2Hs D2X D70 D2H
With cameras flash YN465 other systems may be used only in manual mode. With cameras Sony and Minolta, in consequence of structural features of these cameras hot shoe adapter to use Yongnuo YN-H3 hot shoe adapter or equivalent.
Yongnuo speedlight YN-465 can be used as installed in the camera or remotely, using radio synchronizers, such Yongnuo RF-602 or Yongnuo CTR - 301 P, PT-04 TM, Cactus, etc.
Flash Yongnuo speedlight YN-465 used in several modes:
- «M» (manual) - manual. Smooth adjustment of output level Yongnuo speedlight YN-465 produced by the rotation of control wheel in clockwise and counterclockwise. Power light pulse is indicated by the scale indicator light.
- TTL - mode. In this mode, the flash produces a light pulse tester for accurate metering, auto-exposure camera, and then calculated on the basis of the data light pulse. This mode can be used to support the cameras Nikon i-TTL (including Nikon D5000, D3000, D700, D400, D300S, D300, D200, D100, D90, D80, D70S, D70, D60, D40X, D40).
AF illuminator, support FE-lock, exposure compensation.
Flash Yongnuo speedlight YN-465 has built-in retractable white reflector - the lens and a translucent diffuser.

I regard flash guns as disposable ..I need to carry a spare for wedding photography...It must be iTTL and give an accurate exposure .This one does that and the controls with only one knob is great. easy manual for those arty shots. No silly werring zoom motor either to go wrong .The foot is metal which is a good feature . I wish the battery door was on the other side as I dont mount it on the top shoe ..too easy to knock off and bust out the top of your camera ...brilliant for the money and no need to cry when it hits the tarmac. I find all stuff from this maker well made.

I've had experience with this brand and model of flash for the Canon, I bought this only has to be the difference for Nikon.
In my case, the Nikon flash takes more than the Canon camera that I have, so I really liked because it is a Flash Good with Low cost.
Only thing is that the vendor could sell with the diffuser already included, because the buyer would lose less time without having to make another purchase. (because it is a very important accessory.).

Long life and easy to use speedlite for Nikon :) I own a SB900 but I use this product most of the time because of its weight, easy to use functionality and performance :D
