This is the first in a series of A&E presentations with Biblical scholars of all traditions commenting as scripture and Biblical history is explored.
As a theologian, I love the way it entertainingly fills in some info even I did not know. As a pastor, I use it with members of my congregation who may have a great deal or have very little previous background. They all love it! I find I can use the segments individually and supplement it with maps, charts and other background information.
I bought this on ebay because I wore out the copy I bought in 1999.
You will also enjoy just watching it in your home with family and friends.
