Blizzard has put an enormous amount of effort into developing the World of Warcraft , Northerend is no exception... Although you can get into the show for $30 with the normal edition, the collector's editions immerse you deeper into the world of warcraft by filling in back stories, offering coffee table quality picture books filled with the art of the realm. The "Behind the scenes" dvd and soundtrack not only make you appreciate the amount of effort that has been put into creating this world for us, but also (to us that have been playing video games since the age of the Magnavox Odissey) to look back at how far the genre has come.

I for one, will roll with Frosty in tow... Those who get it, will know the difference.

Good for Warcraft players

This is an awesome expansion set to World of Warcraft. If you are really into the game it is almost impossible to pass up the extra game content. The collectors edition is nice because you also get a very rare in game pet and you also get a nice dvd about the game. You aslo recieve a cd , that for myself isnt very interesting. The game music is great in game but really want to listen to it when I am driving home. The art book is really nice but also isnt very useful but it does feture some amazing game art work. So if you are into world of warcraft it is hard to pass this up.

Great for the Avid WoW Fan!

If you are an avid world of warcraft fan then this collectors edition will suit you well. Otherwise, for all other fans this is something that will cost you more than its worth. I would recommend waiting it out until the price drops considerably (like it did with the burning crusade collectors edition, which is now only $29.99). World of Warcraft

Excellent online multiplayer game with a fantastic storyline and awesome graphics. World of Warcraft (WoW) started several years ago with a maximum level of 60. Their first expansion called The Burning Crusade added two new races, new lands to explore as well as an increase in level to 70 along with the choice to do Standard or Heroic dungeons. They have just released their latest expansion called Wrath of the Lich King which added Northrend (a new continent). Level has been increased to 80 and another class called the Death Knight has been introduced as well as even more fantastic areas to explore, quests to complete and new dungeon bosses to defeat. With eleven million members (and climbing), World of Warcraft is without a doubt the greatest multiplayer online game ever created. World of Warcraft offers enjoyment to you whether you just want to play alone or with a group of up to five players. There are also 25 and 40 member raids which are necessary to defeat the many creatures and bosses within the dungeons. There are 5 member dungeons as well for those times when you are in a group instead of raiding with an entire guild. Blizzard Corporation which owns World of Warcraft is constantly coming up with new content to keep all members entertained. There is always something going on in all areas of the game. During holidays such as Christmas, New Years and Halloween, Blizzard adds special holiday content to the game so that everyone has a great time. Worth the while if you are a true fan of WOW.

This is a collectors item and if you have the chance and if you are a true fan, you should get it... but the price it goes for, only i think if you were a real true fan should get it. the box is very heavy, but a collectors item on the box itself. The game is very easy to learn to play but like any other RPG game, requires some dedication. This is the expansion so be sure that you have the other regular World of Warcraft and World of Warcraft Burning Crusade. That is because in order for you to play this Wrath of The Lich king, you need to have a character at level 50 on the same server that you intend to register this Wrath of the Lich King in. If you just want the expansion, and do not really want to spend the extra cash, just get the regular Wrath of the Lich King version which goes for $39.99 in original price and here on ebay it starts bid at $9.50 to $25.50.
