top quality item

This was a sealed, as advertised, 250 GB Western Dig laptop hard drive that I used with an enclosure to help my daughter back up her school work. Not only was it sealed, it was only manufactured less than 6 months ago by the date on back, so it is not a piece of surplus junk. I am very happy with the drive. The average computer user will have to know some basics on formatting before use in either a laptop or an enclosure, but plenty of info on the web on how to format before being able to use. Simple installation, loaded the OS and I was up and running.

The drive was the direct model replacement of the original. I wanted a simple plug and load the OS operation. The former drive slowed down to a snails crawl so I was forced to replace it. I've replaced a few drives through the years and all have been WD? The take home message is back-up often. This drive works great so for now there is no need to replace the laptop.

More than expected

Very good service and rapid response for common problems. Really thought i was getting ripped off but it turns out this is the real thing. I'm a complete a##hole and this people completely satisfied me with what i needed. The hard drive works excellent and it was brand new out of the package. Anything else i need computer wise, i will let this people be my saviors.

Works as it should quit quick and not that expensive good replacement on my Dell mini...WD clone program you get with their drives worked perfect. They have reputation of being one of best drives out there also.Have them in couple other laptops no failure or problems yet!! Will buy again if need one.
