Western Digital My Book AV 1 TB,External (WDBABT0010HBK-NESN) Hard Drive

The drive was easy to set up with my Tivo. It easily expanded my storage capacity exponentially. I was very pleased with the product.

I expanded my cable DVR storage instantly with this hard drive.Couldn't have been easier to install. It came with the esata cable. Plug and play. I no longer have to delete any program. This is the answer to make any Time Warner DVR record more shows. I would recommend this hard drive greatly.

With network and cable companies scheduling so many programs at the same time on some evenings and with the pace of normal life activities, we can't watch everything at the same time and are forced to record some of these programs to watch at a later date. Sometimes we can't watch a show for a couple of weeks. There is only so much space on dvr's so the use of these dvr expanders is definitly the way to go. I currently have 2 dvr's and 2 dvr expanders and am able to save so many shows right now and am able to watch what I want, when I want, without having to worry about some programs being erased before I got a chance to watch. A sure-fire solution to my situation and I'm sure it would be for so many others. This product works perfectly, and it is virtually silent, so there is no distractions at all. I haven't compared this to any other product beacause I have not been able to find anything else that does what this does and there is no reason to shop around unless it was to find a better price.
