it is a sata drive, my pc only has a eide port. so it did not work for me. i thought it was a eide/sata combo connector. i will just save it for when i get a sata mobo. i know i need a upgrade anyways ;)

After troubleshooting my computer after a crash, I concluded the hard drive was reponsible. After much research for the right product for my desktop, the WD Caviar Blue HD has enabled my computer to run like new again. It's quiet and response time is exceptional.
I only hope that this WD product outlasts the last one that was installed.
Purchased to replace old smaller drive. Attached it to cables and it took off beautifully. Excellent product by Western Digital.
eBay kept hounding me to write a review so here it is. This is a hard drive. It holds the amount of data it is rated for.It works when I turn the PC on as it is designed to do. No complaints.

Received in a timely manner. Good value. Works great. Loaded Windows 7 without any problems. Scored 5.9 on Windows Experience Index with is very good for a SATA 3.0 hard drive.
