Decent price, decent product

It's getting hard to find IDE/PATA Hard drives at reasonable prices. I still have a couple of dinosaurs with IDE/PATA connections only. This machine is for my son, who is disabled. He doesn't have the motor abilitiess to do serious gaming but still wants to be on the computer. It is definitely a good enough tool for homework and internet surfing. He has a "Big Key" keyboard that he can use more easily than a standard M/S keyboard. It serves its purpose.

Excellent hard drive size for Home Computer

Good quality, excellent company. This is a perfect sized hard drive if you're putting together units to sell. Just the right size. Not too large, not too small. But for people who download music and film, I suggest you install a 320gb. Otherwise, perfect for any user.

WD is a super product, recommend to ALL. Value for the $$$.

Purchased as a replacement for a older Dell system, faster RPM, 7200 vs 5400. Larger capacity than unit supplied with system. I only purchase the Western Digital or Seagate HD's. I have excellent service and ware life with this HD. Have been using and installing the WD for 20 years. Great endurance HD.

Good product, works well

This is the third time I have purchased this particular hard drive. The first two worked out perfectly because that was the only thing wrong with those computers. The most recent purchase probably would have been perfect also were it not for the fact that that computer needs a new power supply and possibly a new motherboard, as well. Overall, I would recommend this hard drive.
