Your WD Caviar hard drive is protected from damaging bumps and vibrations by its ShockGuard feature, while in operation. The durability of this desktop hard drive improves significantly because of its NoTouch ramp load technology that prevents the recording from coming in contact with the disk media, reducing wear and tear.
