Product description

Product Information
He's the good, the bad and the ugly all rolled into one, and now he's 3D. Wario, Mario's jealous rival, plays the hero -- well, kind of -- in his first console adventure. In the depths of Wario's castle lies the plunder of his many adventures on the Game Boy, Game Boy Advance and elsewhere. While Wario kicks back in his crib, enjoying the videogame equivalent of bling-bling, a mysterious black jewel in his trove transforms gems into monsters. His wealth, which was once a source of pride, becomes his greatest foe. Now, Wario must scramble to recover his riches. Developed by Treasure, the game takes the form of a fixed-perspective 3D brawler/platform game, with combo-based attacks and lots of creatures to beat up.

A Fun Title For All Ages

    Created: 09/21/06
This game is much like the original Wario games that were released for the GameBoy several years ago. So, the person before me who said this game seems like a knock off, could actually be right....since, this is nothing more than a new Wario game. At the same time, though, it isn't a knock off because Wario isn't stealing anything from any other game. Wario World for the GameCube keeps much of what the original Wario games so successul. You'll travel around different worlds, collecting your treasure, fighting baddies along the way and then big bosses to get back your riches....

    ...wow...

It's JUST like the other Wario games! Go figure! But you know what? - It's still a FUN game to play. It's like a 3D plat form game, still maintaining side scrolling action. There's a variety of bad guys and Wario has a variety of moves from charging to grabbing a guy and spinning him in a circle before tossing him. Along they way, you'll have to find some secrets and such...JUST LIKE BEFORE! Shocking...

I know my sarcasm may lead you to think this game is just regurgitated material, but it's not. This game just follows the character that Wario is, puts him in great GameCube graphical presentation and lets him loose. It's fun, it's a great ride and no one can say that Wario isn't a great character. The only downside to this game is that it felt relatively short. I feel as if the original GameBoy game was longer...but that's no reason not to play this game. I think children and adults alike will find themselves amused and enticed by the greedy, bullying antics of Wario.

Well, thanks again E-Bay for another great deal! This game was exactly what our kids wanted. And it arrived very quickly (much to my relief...)
The game plays very cool. Wario seems to be like a distant relation of Super-Mario. Kind of a greedy,fat,evil-cousin. Personality aside, this game is fun.
Wario explores many, many different levels, finding items, collecting treasure,
and beating up monsters of all shapes and sizes. I think Wario's gig is mainly greed and conquest though, especially since he does'nt seem to have a cute girlfriend like Mario & Luigi. Poor dude....
Anyways, the game is fun,action-packed,and you can get a great deal on E-Bay!
Be greedy like Wario. Because, let's face it......your worth it!

Ive always loved these kinds of games, wish it had been a little longer but very entertaining!
Its lenght its about the same as Luigi's Mansion, but i do love both of those titles. Many interesting puzzles but msot important of all it has very funny (gets repetitive though) battle system. Squash, throw, punch and knock down your enemies, use them to hit other enemies and such.
What I did find very dissapoining was the final boss, unlike the somewhat challenging boss of luigis mansion, the boss is weak and easy to kill. (wont tell more spoilers)
Overall it has a funny looking enviroment that doesnt look that repetitive neither boring. The large amount of ways to attack keeps you entertained, and the several bosses was something neat.

I would say buy it, since the only thing I didnt liked was the lenght and the final boss. But overall, its such a nice and funny game that at least will be fun while it lasts. The only reason I would say "Dont BUY IT!" its if you want a longer lasting game for your money, but if that isnt a problem, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!?!?

This game is so fun, and challenging. Lots of levels and different foes to face. The game's plot centers around Wario and his quest to regain his treasure and his castle from an evil black jewel. It's a really fun adventure game I definitely recommend it!

One of the coolest Wario games yet! I loved this game. There were so many different levels and i Love how all the " baddies" were all very alike but also very different. this game packs a punch, fun for the whole family and you can even win mini games for your GBA!! It can't get much better than that lol!
