As an old school player, starting in the early 90's, The autococker was the 3rd gun I owned prior to having to lower quality "starter level" guns. I love the autococker because it is incredibly air efficient, very accurate, and nearly infinitely customizable. Yes they can be a bit tricky to work on if your new to the design. Once you get it set up and working the way you like you rarely ever have issues, no more than with any other gun. I definitely prefer the older early 2000 models to the trinity version, it's just not the same. For those of you who think that electronic is the only way to go that's fine, but for those of you who want the true paintball experience and want the thrill of knowing you just took out the guy ripping 30 BPS at you with less than 20 rounds, then I strongly suggest getting the autococker. Maybe I am a bit old fashioned, but ya know what? I've owned $1300 electronic guns and spent hundreds of dollars on paint in a single weekend, but nothing beats going back to the simpler times of good old fashioned mechanical guns and only using 1 or 2 cases of paint to accomplish the same thing you do with 4 or 5 cases and an electronic gun.

This is a mechanical marker which is okay. It's not fast like most markers but very dependable when everything is working well. I timed it and oiled it myself. Thinking about converting it to pump and trying possibly doing a few upgrades while in the process. I would definitely suggest doing your homework and what the potential this marker could be. If you want to turn it into a pump, great upper body. Maybe the feed neck should be adjustable or clamping but it's worth giving it a try.

Very nice marker, very fast and very accurate. Has four firing modes: Semi, Full-Auto, PSP Ramping and a Rebound. It can throw about 15-20bps so it needs a good hopper to keep up. The gun seems to have trouble on Rebound mode because it fires 2 balls when you pull the trigger and 1 when you release it. Especially if you have a fast trigger pull, the gun seems to shift gears and really takes off. Might be a hopper problem though. Would probably really help if a pair of QEV's were put on. Overall a great marker for any type of player from novice to pro.
