Great price, nice picture. The only drawbacks I have with this TV are the lack of RCA type plugs, it has plenty of HDMI and USB connections. The sound quality also lacks any kind of punch.
my television works better than other name brand tvs. for the price, this was a gift I gave myself for fathers day,the best gift I ever gave myself. I run 24 hrs. a day practically and after these few months it still loks crystal clear. and it spends less on light than my old tv. thank you.
Great LCD TV with the internet at your finger tips Vizio has a very good picture. Could have better sound. I hooked up a home theather sound system to it perfect now. With (4) HDMI ports for all your DVD, Blu-ray,& VCR Players.
This TV looks great and my wife and I are really enjoying it. We had some issues setting up WiFi to work on the video streaming apps, but were able to solve the problem. We do not have a TV signal input right now so we are just using it as a monitor and to use internet apps such as Pandora, Youtube, and Netflix. The quality is great though, and sound is good enough to satisfy us. We got ours for $335 but if we didn't have such a tight budget i'd have jumped at it for anything under $400! Be aware though, this is not a model with a bluetooth remote, so entering words into search fields for the internet apps requires manually moving to each letter on an on-screen keyboard, this is a minor issue though, and not one that detracts much at all from the experience!
I really like the Vizio 42", it fits perfectly in the cabinet in my living room. Setup was easy and the picture is great. I like the internet apps but wish they had more to choose from re: HBO-GO and MAX-GO. The other thing that I don't especially care for is that the audio out is an 1/8 stereo jack. When I plug it into the input on my KVOX amplifier/speaker system I am not able to mute the audio when I mute the volume on the Vizio. The KVOX does not have a mute feature itself and I find this to be inconvenient. My other TVs were able to mute the audio out. Overall the pros far out weigh the cons.
