I love it

I cannot believe what an amazing deal this was and what a great TV. I upgraded from a 32 inch LCD and this thing is absolutely HUGE.
I thought the picture on my old tv was great but this one just blows it away. I highly recommend this TV for sure. I bought this TV used and the description said it had a few marks that could not be seen from distance (i figured i could live with that) infact the TV looked immaculate and definitely could pass for Brand-New. I was shocked and absolutely delighted with how good it looked!

Couple of things to note about the TV which are minor annoyances but certainly not deal breakers (esp. for the price).
1. There is an ambient light sensor on the TV and it is just terrible and messes with your remote and the TV operation itself. I had the TV for about a month before doing some "googling" to understand why my TV would just turn itself off when switching channels and why my remote would have to be pushed about 20 times before a channel would change. Turns out the ambient light sensor messes with the IR and as soon as I turned it off - hey Presto!! no more random turning off, remote works perfectly again and i'm a happy camper.
2. the other minor annoyance is that when viewing on HDMI and plugging into a seperate Audio receiver rather that just listening to the TV speakers, the lip syncing is off. It's only slightly off (.5 seconds) but just enough to be a real pain. So i just listen with the TV speakers instead of my sound system and that is still pretty good. The sound on this TV is really good for a TV.

So overall this TV gets an A+ rating for:
1. Picture Quality is just spectacular
2. TV sound through TV speakers
3. Price is amazing
4. Gorgeous design
5. 4 HDMI inputs
6. Easy menu controls, etc

You will not go wrong with this TV - i'm glad i made the jump to 47 inches!!

Great product and a great price

First of all I will say I have been buying refurbished products lately because they come at a greatly reduced rate, so far I have purchased some very good tools at close to half price of the same items sell for normally. I have had good experiences with them as they all appear to be brand new or have no identifiable blemishes I could find and have performed flawlessly.

If the retailer offers a good warranty and accepts returns and has a good service record then I feel the risk is minimal in buying and being stuck with a defective product.
I saw these deals while shopping for a television through the online retailers and decided to check ebay in effort to find a deal.

I saw the deals on ebay were even substantially better than buying from a major retailer like newegg or amazon for even the same exact TV.

So far my judgement on buying refurbished has paid off , by getting a decent TV at about 250$ less than the same TV new and 100$ + less than the same TV refurbished through newegg or amazon. I could not tell the difference between this TV and a brand new one except it did have a tiny amount of dust on it. It has worked flawlessly and I am very happy with it.

It performs as expected has good color and resolution , of course you could buy a much better TV , but not anywhere near the price you can buy this one.

Great picture - combine with small speaker system for a winner!

Great set for the price. This TV has a very good picture (great black contrast)but mine is HDTV from DirecTV, so yours may not be as sharp. It is very easy to install on the wall as the weight is less than I anticipated, and angle viewing is good.

The only shortcoming - as with all LCD TV's, is the audio. It has great capabilities, but the speakers sound like listening to an old clock radio. The solution - connect it to a small but good set of amplified PC speakers - mine are Klipsch ProMedia 2.1. I promise you that these two combined will produce a low cost home theater experience for any bedroom, etc. I am a home theater nut, so it wouldn't do as my primary entertainment source, but for ancillary rooms - it is a winner!!

Setup was a breeze, plug and play.

I am very pleased so far with my purchase. I look for quality and value in what I buy, and this TV delivered big time. The picture resolution is great as well as the sound, with no external speakers. The fit and finish of the set and stand are top notch. Setup was a breeze, plug and play. I'll be totally honest, for the price I thought this might be a dud, I was wrong and relieved. The TV is substantial in picture size and for a mid to large room its plenty. $300 Score! installing a wall mount bracket for this t.v. was a breeze

Very dissent TV, Good value for your money.

Vizio has a very dissent picture quality, The picture is nice (not neccessarly what you would get from panasonic ) but for about half the price it looks good and gets the job done. it hangs nicely on the wall of my room. the speakers are okay for a 42" TV.

it works great as a monitor for my laptop.
