If you're looking for a great 3D TV, you've found it!

First things first, this TV is absolutely awesome for watching 3D movies. I was skeptical that a TV could be as cool as the theater, but it looks JUST LIKE IT. I was also leery about purchasing a refurbished one, but it has been great. I have had it only four days, mind you, but so far this has been great!

Picture Quality-- Amazing. We'll have to get used to HD but it surpasses the beauty of regular TV by far. It didn't 'feel' like watching a movie because it was too crisp of picture. For us, watching a movie has that 'atmosphere' that pulls you in. Not being used to such a crisp picture took that 'atmosphere' away, but that will just take some getting used to; then it will have that same feeling we remembered.

Features-- Being able to view our internet videos without a laptop hooked up to this is awesome. Has an Amazon button right on the remote so it's quick to get to our Prime videos. AND we can pause the Prime videos with the remote just like if the movie were in the DVD player.

3D-- The 3D is great and the thing that is cool is, the glasses we have from the theater work with this TV. It only came with 2 pair, but that didn't matter! We just grabbed the extras we had from the theater and we could all watch the movie without buying additional glasses!

Set-Up -- We registered the TV on the TV itself using the wifi. The WIFI was super easy to hook up too.

Watching 3D gives me the same wow factor HD television did the first time.

For a large living room a 42" screen would not work, however the cozy little five seat room where I watch television, this 3D TV rocks. It's just like watching a 3D movie at the theater in the comfort of your own home, all for less than $600. It comes bundled with the 3D DVD player, cables, and four glasses necessary for viewing in 3D. The only negative I have is the price of the movies themselves and the small selection to choose from. I can see most movies going the 3D route though, and eventually, all television will be filmed in 3D streaming through your TV. This is a great buy for now and the future.

Great Value; Worth every penny! Buy this TV!

The overall picture quality is very good for a lower end inexpensive TV. The 3D technology has gotten good and bad reviews from everything I've read. here's the deal; active glasses hurt my eyes the passive one don't. Yes, the 3D might not be "as" good as the active sets but I watched an hour of 3D last night on my Directv and let me tell you it looked perfectly fine and quite nice. Even my wife agreed that it was easier on her eyes and she even liked the picture quite a bit.

Long story short for your money this TV offers your a damn nice picture, wireless and wired internet that can do video streaming, a full qwerty keyboard, and 3D technology for under $600. I don't personally care if it's not the best TV on the block its a great value and well worth you investment.

Nice 3D TV - Good picture

Very nice 3D pictue. Nice 3D TV with no complaints. Movies and sports have great quality in 3D. It has great 2D HD quality with the sharpness increased.I used factory defaults for all other settings. The next step up is LED 3D and then OLED after that when the price comes down.Think about a good 3D Bluray player/recorder to go with this Tv.

Great buy, High end product and mid range price

I have been reading and researching on 3D LCD and LED tv for about 5 weeks before i actually bought one. the Vizio E3D420VX 42" was my selection. based on my research which included commentary from other consumers, this unit offers the best value for money straight off the bat. in many areas the Vizio E3D420VX performs on the same level and even out performs top brands, like Sony and LG to name a few. it does do 2D display at a lower level than preferred however unless you are really critical it hardly noticeable and after a few minutes of viewing your eyes adjust very well. this is a great buy it you want a 3D set at a real economic price which also comes packed with apps and WiFi.
