PLOT: I would rate the story as 4 STAR but the READ on the audiobook cd as a ONE STAR thus the below average rating~
Bride from Hell Carrie Edwards dies and just about everyone is suspect including Wedding Planner Jaclyn Wilde~ Brizilla Carrie is wants a dream wedding of the year but makes everyones job a night mare with her endless demands and last minute switches on the flowers, food and dresses~ soon she is dead~ covered with her OWN VEIL and the Detective HUNK Eric Wilder~ is soon on the case~ but the conflict comes because he just spent the NIGHT with suspect Jaclyn ~ LOL~ good mystery here~ not one of Howards top stories but still a good story~ the murder does not occur until well into the book~ and at times Jaclyns job is detailed and we smile but over all a 4 STAR book~
what happens with this audio verson is the READER~ WHAT A total bore she is ~ her accent and speach~ make this audio~ pretty much a waste of time~~~ READER CLARINDA ROSS (I hope Random House does not use her again~) HINT HINT HINT~ I typically love all of Howards audios~ and have everyone that has been made but this one is #1 on *WORST AUDIO READER*~ WINNER~ BAR NONE~ even a good story by Linda Howard cannot save this one~ sorry get a BETTER more entertaining READER and I will be thrilled~ but I did listen to the whole 10 cds~ and had to motivate myself to listen to the LOUSY accent and tone of the readers voice~ and could ONLY give it 1 STAR and that is being kind~ LOL~
I would READ the book and avoid the AUDIO CD~ and you will be much happier~
