The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (DVD, 2010, 2-Disc Set, Special Edition)

In all seriousness, the movie really is great. And the special edition offers commentary from the stars, deleted scenes and a bunch of other extras for the twilight fanatic in your life!

Even though these movies are more like love stories than your typical vampire/werewolf movies, they are still great. Eclipse is the best so far. We get deeper involved with the other characters and the action parts are great! The love triangle with Edward, Bella, and Jacob gets more complicated. The camp site scene is great! Edward's proposal is romantic! You won't know which side to choose! You also get better acquainted with Jasper and Rosalie Cullen. The battle scene is super, but too short. You'll love the ending, and you won't want to wait for the next one! I know I loved it and can't wait for the next installment.

I read the book and wanted to see the movie. They did a great job with all the special effects, etc. It was very near to the book. Some of the acting was boring in some areas - that is the only reason I gave it good vice excellent. It will be interesting to see the movies "Breaking Dawn". The commentaries on this disk was good - to know how they originally filmed it and then changed things to make it better. I was very disappointed in the change of Victoria. If they could wait for Kristen Stewart why couldn't they wait for Rachelle Lefevre? It is always a bummer when they do sequel and replace the original actor/actress. In summary I would like to recommend to read the books before seeing the movie. In the cases of these movies it will give you more insight into the characters that the movie just can't go into.

Since this is the third movie of the Twilight Saga, I, of course, had to add it to my collection. From an adult point of view, I am thrilled that finally an old fashioned love story, no nudity, no filthy language, no terrible gore to put up with has arrived. All of the characters in the film are fantastic and beautiful. Each movie keeps you waiting for the next chapter in the lives of Edward and Bella. We still need to know the human lives of Carlyle, Esme, Alice, and Emmett, as Jasper and Rosalie's human lives were indeed surprising. Looking forward to Breaking Dawn, Part 1, in November and of course like everyone else, to see Bella's wedding dress.

I love this movie as it is. I have read the books several times and they do a great job in the movie with graphics, even though the first film (twilight) was low budget they still did great. I bought this set because I NEED to own all the dvd's in the saga and the seller had a great price on it!
