) I purchased this item for grading waste pipe and leveling dirt work for foundations. The product is very accurate and works well at short and long distances. I really like the versatility of this product as a single user product, or tag teaming. The one major drawback is the "auto-leveling" feature. If you don't get it almost perfect - the laser will not function at all. Longer ranges tend to take some time to get an accurate reading, but overall the product is similar to other brand names on the market and reasonably priced for laser level products.
