Tricks of the EBay Masters by Michael Miller (2005, Paperback, Illustrated)

I consider this book excellent.
I find that it is a balanced presentation of the pros and cons of various aspects of buying and selling on eBay. Fair and balanced book.

Michael Miller has done what many of us have often thought of doing. Putting together the tips and tricks that we who frequent (haunt?) the eBay boards impart to those stumbling along seeking answers.

The author has taken the best advice given on eBay chat boards by sellers and buyers who have generously donated their time to help others.
Unfortunately, not all the information given there is accurate. Michael Miller has sifted out the chaff and brought us the wheat. Accurate, timely information to help you as you navigate buying and selling on eBay.

If you had to choose just one reference work to help you with buying and selling on eBay, this is the book I would recommend. Very good index, easy to read format.

Michael Miller lets the folks with the real tips and tricks do the writing. Each tip, trick or hint is attributed to it's author and used with their permission. Their username, Member since date and feedback star color are anotated above each Trick# Not only do you get Millers ideas, but you get the ideas and thoughts of hundreds of other eBay buyers and sellers. This book harnesses the power of the community.

Like a community cookbook the ideas come in many flavors. The book has a beautiful old timey, retro cover and then it gets right to the heart of eBay, the eBay forums community. It's interesting to look up the names of those who have provided sections of the book. some are still here, some are gone, NARU. some are now giants and some are just plugging along.

Miller has created an interesting format, unseen in other writers, in the eBay genere. I'd recommend this book for intermediate to advanced powerseller.

I got two ebay books from the library.... this one and another one. The other one went back the next day after I reviewed it and this one blew my mind. I was a barbaric, drumstick eating cave seller before I started checking this one out and now - Ive got the stone wheel rolling and I got Kitty Hawk, North Carolina on my mind [ for those who have ears listen....] take it easy, yours truly, Apollo 13

I love this book. It's more than I thought I was buying. It was well worth my money helping me to start my Ebay buisness. Very helpful!
