the stampede is a very tough truck and they are a blast. you can even turn the esc down to allow for beginners and little ones to enjoy on the fun too. i really like how well built traxxas is compared to some of the other brands i also own. and dont forget they are waterproof too, i broke my engine in under water and is working great. this really is a great purchase and will buy another.
I bought this truck for my girl freind so we could RC together
it is a awesome tuck and she loves it. We have upgraded the
body and gave it a new look. It runs amazing and is super
fast and easy to maintain. If someone wants a RC truck that
is fun and easy to play with this is the one.
Thanks Billy
The truck is awsome. I have a few different models of of Traxxas brand radio controlled cars. The Rustler is by far the funnest one of them all. Upgraded to the brushless motor now. Wow does the thing rip now. Looking into LiPo batteries next.
1st things 1st. READ the manuel. You will cook the motor if you DO NOT BREAK IN CORRECTLY. Go to the TRAXXAS website. Break in is 1 full hot battery neer top speed in a large circle with no braking are reverse. Do NOT go put put around on that first battery then be supprised , when you cook the motor. 2nd Do not do burn outs are jack rabbit starts on that first battery run. I have several TRAXXAS trucks. both VXL brushless and XL5 brushed. I think I like the brushed better. I have much better control of my truck. They don t eat tires like the VXL s do. And I don t have to replace parts neer as much. ( Because I don t hit things as much) The looks of the Stampede are great , but Traxxas went a little too large on the tires. I seem to have to wait 10 minutes are so between batteries for the motor to cool down. I switched to 2.2 tires and don t have neer the motor heat issue. If you offroad your truck . You should use a good spray on undercoating before you start running it . A $20.00 can of undercoat will save you a $35.00 body. And a can goes along way. I Love my Stampede, But then I Love all my RCs. Cars , Trucks, Boats, Planes, Helos. This stuff is addictive!!
I have owned many rc car/trucks over the years everything from Slashes to SC10's and my all-time favorite has to be the Traxxas Stampede! It is thee must durable rc I've owned. Even when it does break, ther average part is about $4 and because its Traxxas the parts are available everywhere, very easy to get stock parts for. When I haver upgraded to RPM parts they've never failed, once you put RPM parts on this truck its unbreakable! Best truck by far for your money!
