Product Information
Set in the brutal arenas of ancient Rome, Tournament of Legends is a weapon and magic based 3D-fight game featuring fighters based on a legend from world mythology: the Minotaur, a powerful Gladiator, Gorgon, Stone Golem, Valkyrie and other well-known and powerful characters. Tournament of Legends features epic battles in fantastic fighting arenas where players wield mythical blade weapons, launch 40 magic attacks, and dodge giant mythological creatures that protect the battle lairs. In intense one and two-player fights, players master a range of character and weapon based magic attacks; including unleashing, amongst others, a man-eating lion, Jupiter's Storm, Thor's Fury and a nest of venomous snakes.

Do not waste your time with this mistake of a game. For fans of fighting games, there is no depth to the game play. For fans of craziness, the craziness is just so much facade; it seems toned down because it almost tries to hard, like a comedian telling a joke and laughing at himself pleadingly. The characters move like early 3D fighters, to a level of clunky that is simply unacceptable. Combos only exist nominally, and the stages, while conceptually very nice, range between boring and unfair in practice. I bought this game because I love a good fighter, but this game would have been bad on Sega's Dreamcast ten years ago. Do yourself a favor and don't let curiosity overwhelm the well-advised urge to STAY AWAY!
