I need a lot of data storage capacity, so I decided to buy this product that supplies my needs satisfactorily.
Besides being a great brand (toshiba), also could acquire for an unbeatable price. Thanks to Ebay.

I am a fan of Toshiba products and this is a very good drive.

This was a very wise purchase, I got it for a few dollars less than the retail value, as you would be spending anywhere between $100 to $110+ for this drive. I have a Sony External Drive that the connection on it has started to not want to work properly and so I had to get a new External Drive, also my older drive is only a 400GB drive, whereas this is a 1TB Drive. I wish that the connection cord was a little longer, but overall, performance, price and size are the key factors as to why I bought this drive.

I think the product is great but has a faulty cord. Great for the price.

Bought for extra storage for my laptop.
No issues other than the cable from the pc to the ext. hard drive is faulty. I have another Toshiba Canvio that use the cord from that one. I will buy another cord later on.
I like it and it works great. It's the only brand I've ever tried and I'm happy with the way it and my other Toshiba Canvio work.

Excellent external hard drive, fast, efficient, and great for beginners.

I own three of these. They are fast, efficient and inexpensive compared to many other models. I use them to back up irreplaceable protected data. I like the Toshiba over other brands, as I have never had a Toshiba crash on me, and I find they are more compatible with the computers that I use. Since I travel and use them on different formats this is important to me. Since it is USB powered there are no extra wires to worry about.

Some techies complain it is slower than some other brands, but I find that it is very fast. It is VERY EASY TO USE FOR THOSE WHO ARE BEGINNERS AS WELL. While I am not a beginner I find I often don't have time to deal with the technology required to do full back-ups. This Toshiba practically does it by itself, with ease!

Over all, an excellent external hard drive!

Es un buen disco duro externo, muy buen tamaño y precio, a simple vista parece ser grande y complicado de portar pero no es asi ya que facilmente alcanza en una bolsa de pantalon. Trae software de recuperacion, 1 año de garantia de fabrica y Toshiba es excelente marca.

Pensaba comprar un Western Digital pero mejor opte por este
