Tony Hawk's Pro Skater (Nintendo 64, 2000)

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater (Nintendo 64) is the first game in the Tony Hawk series. This is a great game that I think will turn into a classic. It is 1-2 players and you need a memory card to save your game progress with. This is a fun and exciting game for the Nintendo 64. Although there is many other games in the Tony Hawk series this one is one of the best. In Tony Hawk's Pro Skater (Nintendo 64) you go on two minute games and try to complete the goals. If you like skateboarding then you will like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater (Nintendo 64).

We all know that Tony Hawk is a legendary skater, but it was this game that made his name a household item. The original game was on the PS1 and N-64 and was a very good game. Then there was the port over to the Dreamcast. It was the same game, only that the graphics were signifigantly better. The character models in the old games were from 450-600 polygons each, while the Dreamcast version boosted that number to 1500 and over. The locales are the same as are the challenges, but the video and audio quality are way better.

The game itself is very fun, but since it is the first installment of the series, many will find that it is lacking in some places like control and depth to the game, but overall it is enjoyable and is pretty good.

This is by far the best skateboarding game available for the PS1 system !!! The graphics are top notch for a PS1 game and the moves are smooth and flawless. Once you start playing this game it'll be hard to let it down, so set aside a couple of hours before playing it. You can choose from a few different characters and each one will have a different style of skating and doing tricks. I can't get enough of this game, and i'm sure you'll have tons on fun if you try it too !!! I highly recommend it and i'm not easily pleased when it comes to games, so you know it's really good !!!

this game is simple, addictive, and fun the more players you have. tricks are simple and the career mode really prepares you to school your friends. this game sparks up nostalgia for me as im sure it does for many other N64 lovers. play this game and you are taken back to the year 1999, a simpler time.
