) I love this lens. I was previously using a Sony 11-18mm DT lens on my Sony A77, but was disappointed with lens flare. I changed to this lens, and virtually no flare even when pointed directly into the sun. And, so pin sharp it's scary! It is incredibly well built and performs perfectly on my A77. Definitely a keeper, and the f2.8 makes low light hand held a real breeze. Avoid using the lens hood if using the on-camera flash as it will cause shadows, but no problems without the lens shade, or using a clip on flash.
The colours this lens produces are superb and so vibrant. Really pleased and no adverse comments at all on the lens. I hope to enjoy it for years to come.
