Great Club! Straight and Long! Great Driver
Created: 04/04/07
I bought this driver last summer. I live in South Florida and I've been playing with it all year. My game has really improved!
I went from the low 90's to mid 80's.
Today I just shot my best game ever with it, a 77! Only 5 over!
I know it's an old Titleist, but I crush it. And it is consistently straight.
I used to power-fade, and sometimes slice all my old drivers.
This one rockets straight nine out of ten times.
It is workable, but I don't draw it very well.
Who needs a draw when you can hit it in the middle of the fairway 275 plus!
I can even hit it off the fairway about 250-260 yards.
Off the tee, I've hit it 300. Usually 275-285 yards.
I'm playing short irons into the greens, and I love it.
Par 5's, I'm reaching the green in two.
My friends can't believe how well I hit it.
Especially when I outdrive their new drivers they spent hundreds on.
My friend broke his driver and borrowed mine. He loved it!
I'm sorry I let him try it, because he crushed it too.
Highly recommended club! Can't go wrong with it!
Best driver for the money in my opinion!

great feel to this driver

I am slowly moving up in swing speed, and to a lesser degree tempo, as i progress with my golf game. I decided to try the 9 degree titleist with a stiff steel DG shaft to train more feel into my driver swing. I was surprised to find out that I like this driver better than my Taylormade r7. I hit it just as far and with more control due to the shaft/loft combination and i know without looking up where the ball is most likely heading due to the increased feedback of the steel shaft. If I do pick up the r7, it goes a bit further than before at first until i start to back off because the feedback is numb in comparison. I will stick with this driver until I can work out a more modern alternative. In the meantime, I will enjoy more fairways on my second shot than before. Try one even if just for training purposes. Your swing will thank you for it.

very good club, had one a few years ago and let it go in a trade so i picked this one up because i always liked this driver. club is long, sweet spot not as big as some of the newer drivers, nor is the face, but if you are a decent golfer and don't need a club the size of your head to make contact with the ball you will like this driver.

Reliable driver, but not as long as some of the newer products out there
| No, I would not recommend this product.

Decent but outdated driver. I bought it because I got a good deal. It's club head size is smaller than most drivers out there today. A good backup driver for me.
