My son likes it

This was a very strange movie. The actors lack emotion and the storyline is strange to follow. I think a better full length film could have been made about the Thomas the train characters. But.... my 3 year old son absolutly loves this movie. We have the the diesel 10 character at home and because he is the "villain" of the movie my son often puts him into "time out". It's kindof cute. I personally would give this movie a 2/5 but because my son likes it so much I am bumping it up to a 3/5 rating. I am purchasing the DVD because our VCR just broke down and we aren't planning to buy another one and all we have is the VHS version of this movie.

Wonderful storyline; kept my son interested through out

This movie is a pretty good feature length film based on Thomas and his friends. The acting was good with Peter Fonda stealing the show in my opinion. Alec Baldwin did really well as well as Mara.

It kept my son interested the first time he watched and still holds his interest every time after. Not bad considering he's 2.

Thomas and the Magic Railroad

My Grandson is "over the top" for the Thomas and his friends series. I bought this DVD for him, thinking of it as a new addition to the set. Well....it just doesn't belong. This story mixes the familiar animated trains with live action. I was curious to see how they blended the two, and the answer is--not very well. It just jumps awkwardly back and forth through the entire movie. I could read my Grandson's mind---"What are all these PEOPLE doing in my movie?"
Bottom line, it's confusing for the very young, and too silly for older children.

Thomas the Magic Railroad (DVD, 2000)

I have watched the movie several times with my 5 grandsons. 2 of my grandson's ages 2 and 4.5 live 4 hours away from me. They also like the movie, (and Thomas the Train) much as to watching it over and over again; I couldn't give them my movie. I tried buying the movie at several stores and could not find it. I did find it on Ebay my daughter says the movie runs like new the boys love it. Any child that likes Thomas will enjoy this movie. Alec Baldwin does an outstanding performance in this children's film.

Looks Wonderful. My Twin Grandsons love Thomas

It's about Thomas The Train. My Twin Grandsons Love anything about Trains Thanks. They go to anything that is about Trains and have been watching everything abou Thomas for two years . They are only four years old and have videos at their house and there other Grandmother's house so I bid on two so they can take one over to her house as well. Sorry but I work 2 jobs and I don't have time to write an Essay . This is much to long for most people that are very busy. Cut it down a little to at least fifty words and you will do better Its only a wonderful film for Kids and I thank you but it is way to long. I am on my way to work so I hope this will do. All the last of this was to try to fill it. Thanks
