I first read this book when I was about ten and always remembered it but could never find it until now. It's a charming selection of silly ghost stories and old myths. I look forward to passing it on to my nieces and nephews.
Many of you might remember stories from this classic book. As a child there were stories passed around in my neighborhood and I didn't even know they derived from this book. My wife read it over and over as a kid and just had to have it. Now we sit around and read the stories out-loud. Even our teenage son gets a kick out of it. There is also some fun tips about ghostly things hiding in the back of the book. Don't miss out on some fun times, add this book to your collection. Who knows...maybe you will start to understand what's been making that noise in the kitchen at night? ME Denver, CO
I wanted to get a copy of this book, because it was the first scary book I ever read. This book by Maria Leach opened my eyes and I am sure millions of more children to the possbilty of the Paranormal( In a Good Way). I feel like I have got in touch with a long lost friend.
