| Instead of just watching the animated series, you can control the action in THE ADVENTURES OF BATMAN & ROBIN. You'll lead the dynamic duo through the streets of Gotham City on your quest to eliminate crime and violence. Using the Batcave as headquarters, you'll have a full arsenal of Bat-weapons at your disposal including smoke bombs, Batarangs, x-ray goggles, and whatever else you can fit onto your utility belt. You'll have to take out Batman's most hated archenemies before they can take control of Gotham. Foes like Catwoman, Two-Face, the Penguin, Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, and the Joker will try to stay one step ahead of you. Featuring animation-style graphics, a compelling musical score, and tons of action, this is the ultimate Batman experience. | |

You know it seems Batman's been treated better than any other superhero I can think of - awesome movies, awesome TV shows, and awesome video games. This game is a combination of the last two.
Based on the Adventures of Batman and Robin TV show (one of my all-time favorite cartoons), the Adventures of Batman and Robin is a platformer beat-'em-up from Konami and boy is it a good one. The first thing will probably stick out is the graphics. This game seriously looks like you're playing an episode of the TV show. The music is also great too. The show had pretty cinematic music and this game has a pretty good 16-bit interpretation of that music.
But music and graphics don't make a game. Gameplay does and this game really shines in that department too. Batman has a lot of attacks and items, the level design is great, the bosses are imaginative and players will actually have to use a little brain power to get through some of these levels. One thing I really like about this game is that every level offers something new. There are mazes, levels where you have to rescue hostages and even a driving section. Yes, you actually drive the Batmobile in this game!
Faults are few and far between, but they are present. Being a Konami game, one might expect this game to be tough and yes there are some dicey sections, but this game isn't too tough. There's a password, difficulty selection and ability to select the number of lives to even up the odds. Some things aren't as self-explanatory as they should be, but a little brain power never hurt anyone.
Some people may be upset that Robin isn't a playable character (even though he's in the title). Even though it would have been nice to have a multiplayer element, it's not that bad. After all, people would just argue over who gets to be Batman.
Overall, this is a great game for the Super Nintendo and one of the best Batman games ever.

Thanks so very much for sending the game so quickly. My husband was lookign and searching for a great looking copy and was extremely happy o find one that looked great and was such a great price. He has been playing it and the family loves it as well. The quality has been great as well with the game playing perfectly without any faults. Thank so much again.
The most amazing Sega Genesis title. Batman & Robin is the 16-bit Mega Drive game from 1995 that pushed the graphical limits of the system, and is very fun to play once you get the hang of it. Played any CONTRA game before? This is a Co-op player, side scrolling shooter that can be EXTREMELY rewarding when you advance to the later levels.
The Genesis version of this game is known for its amazing techno soundtrack, incredible graphics, and for being very challenging.
If you could only own five titles for your classic Sega Genesis, definitely make one of them the Adventures of Batman & Robin.
Being a big Batman fan, playing this game was a great experience. The game has great graphics that make you feel like you're playing an episode from the show. The controls are perfect and the game has a fair difficulty to it. My only problem that I find with this game is that it is called the "Adventures of Batman & Robin" and the game is only 1 player. It would have been nice to be able to play as Batman and Robin with another player.
