Product Description
The TaylorMade R7 Draw Driver Golf Club with titanium club head makes use of draw-weighted technology to ensure that the weights are placed in the back heel of the club; this fosters much faster club face rotation around the impact area to yield improved accuracy and excellent distance control. This TaylorMade R7 Draw Driver golf club has a large 460cc titanium club head with a high moment of inertia (MOI) for a high initial ball velocity and maximum driver distance. The TaylorMade R7 Draw Driver Golf Club also comes equipped with Inverted Cone Technology, which significantly increases the portion of the face of the club for a high COR. This ensures that this TaylorMade golf club delivers consistently longer drives on miss hits.

TaylorMade r7 Draw --- delivers as expected

Created: 10/08/10
I bought the r7 draw after reading some other reviews. I have always had a slight slice and the angled face of the club compensates and forces me to hit straight. I also hit this driver much longer than any driver I have ever owned. Im not the strongest or best golfer, avg score was 90's and avg drive 230. After switching to r7 draw complete golf set, I now hit low 80's and drive around 280. The club alone is not adding all the distance. I am now not afraid of my slice so I swing smoother and faster, thus the extra distance. Hope this helps. ohh ya, I wouldn't buy this for young golfers. Teach them how to swing correctly from the get-go.

R7 Draw driver

Ignore the comments like "this club isnt anything like the other R7's" because this almost exactly like the 460, just with a draw bias. I use to hit a huge slice, but now I am actually drawing the golf ball. A draw cuts through the air and rolls much farther than fades or slices. This means a draw goes longer and is at a more penetrating trajectory. I think this club really teaches you to turn your hands through the ball, slightly closing the clubface, or leaving it square, for a draw or straight shot. This driver is also hot off the face, and has a semi-high MOI for straighter mis-hits.

TaylorMade r7 Draw Driver Golf Club

Created: 11/09/10
I have a complete set of r7 Draw clubs but my Driver is a 10.5 degree club. I hit it really high so I thought I would try a 9 degree club to see if I could use it. I love it, my drives are lower and I get more distance.

excellent club for 20+ handicapper

Created: 09/07/09
I hit the R7 draw driver today and the 13 degree face helped lift my tee shots much more than my previous 10 degree 460 cc titanium driver. As a high handicapper who plays for recreation, but someone who has played more than 25 years of golf, I recommend this club to anyone wishing to add some distance and get some assistance with a slice. It felt great in my hands and I finally have a driver that will outperform my 3-wood off the teebox.

r7 Draw Driver

Wow! This club immediately added 20 - 30 yards to my drive and hits so easily that you do not need to try and overswing! The r7 replaces an inexpensive Wilson 460cc driver which began cracking along the crown-face line. My first outing with it was at a local nine-hole with no driving range, so I just unleashed it. The first hole is straightish par 4 at 360 yds middle tees with a tree-line protecting a road on the right that is a true ball magnet. Having never hit the club, I just took it easy and wanted to make clean contact. I did to the tune of a drive that was 2 irons shorter than my previous drives!

Most highly recommended!
