I have always had a difficult time hitting fairway woods off the turf. I tried the Rescue 2i hybrid at a Taylor Made demo day at my local golf course and fell in love with this club. It has a good weight to the club which helps me make crisp contact each time.
Rescue club works very well just as described. It will fill a gap in the distances between irons and woods. I recommend this for other aging golfers who have trouble generating the clubhead speed required for long irons.
This club hits a low hooking shot. It is perfect for hard fairways, it is not easy to hit out of rough. Most of the Taylormade hybrids have a closed face, and are hard to hit straight. I bought the hybrid 2 to get more distance form a tight lie in the fairway, but this is not working for me. I am a 4 handicap.
Love the TaylorMade Rescue 2011 fairway wood golf club. Great off short par 4's. Wonderful addition to my golf bag. Love this club
The Taylor Made Rescue Club is the second rescue club that i have owned. I had the cobra and comparing the two, the Taylor Made is has a better feel and the ball travels further for me. Great Club.
