I purchased a set of burner plus irons and needed a lob wedge since I had one on my previous set and learned to rely on it on 20-30 yard flop shots. I purchased this one and to be honest, the clubs are the best, most forgiving golf clubs I've ever played. Ease of play and forgiveness is incredible on these irons. I do wish the lob wedge was a bit thinner blade type for ease of getting under the ball but overall, I love these clubs and I hope you will too.
I decided on the burner plus to try a more forgiving club. I have played blades since I started playing 40 yrs ago and have excepted the advice of our club pro, that it would probably help me even thou I still hit my clubs pretty well, these do make a poor swing a bit better (maybe on the collar rather than the trap) The club sets up well and I seem to have adjusted to the different appearance at address which I found difficult with addressing the ball with many of the other offset styles. The other factor in my decision to purchase these was price, the newer technology is there and I didn't have to remortgage the house to afford them.
Taylormade Burner Plus A Wedge feels good and gives me sense of having total control over my next shot. Wedge is accurate and stopping ball and controlling distance seems easier than other wedges I have owned
first wedge I can control..woulnt mind owning a complete set of burner plus,,the ball flys off face ..but its what you want....I would recommend the A wedge to all sa -weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet
Bought this to match the new set of burner plus irons i got and it is a very well made club shows very nice feels great a must have club for those in between clubs top quality would suggest this for any golfer of any level
