Tales of the Abyss ventures out into the third dimension with this 3DS remake of the 2005 entry in Namco's popular Tales series. The game takes place in a world where prophecies clue people in to future happenings. Tales of the Abyss boasts a revolutionary new free roaming battle system allowing players to move anywhere on the battlefield, a first in the Tales series which brings new depth to the intense, high-action battles that Tales games are knows for.


Tales of the Abyss follows the story of the young aristocrat, Luke fon Fabre. Kidnapped seven years ago, Luke returns to his family with no memories of his life before. Suddenly, Luke is thrust into the outside world and caught in the workings of the Order of Lorelei and the Oracle Knights who serve as keepers of the prophecy known as the Score. He must learn of the power of friendship and feel the pain of sacrifice. Luke's actions could save the world or destroy it.

    Good RPG game for 3DS

    Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

    I had this game a long time ago on the PS2 but didn't had the chance to complete it since the console got broken, then I found out that it will release on the 3DS, but unfortunately it only released in America and japan (as I know) and in my Reagen we only have European releases, so I had no choice but to buy it from the internet since I have an American virgin of the 3DS.
    I like this game because the story and because I am a fan of Tales games.
    But I guess the 3DS needs more works to be more engoyable than now.

    Tales of the Abyss is a great, fun RPG for the Nintendo 3DS.The game stays very true to PS2 version released in 2006. The battle system is fluent, the graphics are crisp, and the voice acting is very realistic and professional compared to other video games. Definitly a must have for a 3DS owner.

    great game for the amount of money that I paid for it.

    Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

    I like the battle style and the battle effects. I prefer this type of free moment battle instead of the turn-by-turn game play mainly since I kick major bad guy butt.

    Buy it while it's still in the wild.. Limited Prints are a PITA.

    Games pacing is slightly slow in the beginning, but once it pans out it's fantastic. The characters are interesting, the story isn't bad at all.

    Tales of the Abyss for the nintendo 3DS was an amazing product to buy. I actually was planning to purchase it for some time already and was glad to find it. I was really happy to receive the product, playing the game has proven to be truly enjoyable and I'd definitely recommend it to someone else.
