This is an EXCELLENT product!! I had bought one in 2001 when they were new. I used it for studio purposes because I was too lazy to learn protools and logic for music recording. My TDK recorder finally went out on my after 10 years. I learned protools finally however I had to go and get another TDK burner of because of the convenience of just plugging the source in and actually mixing to 2 track with ease. You can also use the digital coax outs to record which is perfect. You can play two cd's at the same time for dual playback and great when trying to reference your mixes to industry mixes already mastered, volume control, fast speed dubbing and program recording to name a few. This is the 3rd one I bought off ebay because the first two didnt work. Both have the right cd drawers were jammed upon arrival, (packing jobs most likely),so make sure you request the seller pack really well. This 3rd one was in good shape. My original was good for 10 years and aside from the lens going after such a long time I can say its not a good idea to put other devices on top of this burner, (receivers and etc). I believe it affects the right cd drawer from the pressure. Also be advised you can even use Rewriteable CD's,(if you screw up redo it) but the CD's have to say AUDIO or MUSIC!! Computer CD's DO NOT WORK! Thanks for reading! Hope this was helpful
I brought a tdk da-3826 2-disc cd recorder a few weeks ago.I live in the bahamas and my recorder is still in miami at my mailing address so i haven't a chance to look at it or to see if it wooks. But what i do know is that it came with a good price.
IT GET A QUALLITY SOUND, I USE IT @ CHURCH. I RECORD THE SERVICE, DUPICATE EST... 100 COPIES A WEEK AND GIVE AWAY IN RESTRUANTS AROUND IN THE AERA OF THE CHURCH. GREAT WAY TO WITNESS.
When I tried to record on it, the volume knob is bad and it only records noise. Not real happy with this one.
