Industry Reviews
"Felicia Lucas Busch, a registered dietitian in St. Paul, Minn., says it's not necessary to eliminate sugary foods or any food to lose weight. Rather, it's a matter of burning off more calories than you take in. Busch says many of Somers' recipes are wonderful and nutritious: garden green salads, roasted vegetables and oatmeal pancakes. A few seem ridiculous, she says, such as a pound of bacon fried in 2 tablespoons of olive oil to serve five."

Eat Great Lose Weight by Suzanne Somers

This is a really effective way to lose weight. No calorie counting and it's healthy. You can eat fruit, veggies, carbs, proteins and fats in the same day - just not at the same time. There are only a few foods that you need to avoid altogether. The recipes are great and it is a lot easier if you have a little time to do some cooking at home - particularly for carb meals as these can not be prepared with fat. Eating out is easy at most places too when you stick to protein and veggies. Most of the recipes that I've tried do not take more than an hour to prep and cook. It's a lot healthier than buying all the sugar and preservative loaded foods that are pre-packaged anyway. I have 4 of Somer's books and they all have some wonderful quick and easy recipes. "Eat, Cheat and Melt the Fat" away has some great sugar free bread recipes, too.

Eat Great.. and You Do!! The Best Food Plan Ever!

This is one of Suzanne Somers first "Somersize" books written in 1996. It's easy and fun to read, with lots of beautiful photos and clever drawings by her step daughter, Leslie Hamel. The simple directions make following her way of eating a piece of cake! Sorry, couldn't resist! In fact, on the last page of her delicious recipes is the mouthwatering "Decadent Chocolate Cake"! Suzanne divides her eating plan into two different levels, Level One for losing pounds quickly, and Level Two, for maintaining the wonderful results you are bound to see in your mirror. Recipes include, Flourless Cheese Souffle, Whole Wheat Pizza, Citrus Marinated Barbequed Shrimp, Roasted Herbes de Provance Chicken. Desserts are also quite extravagant, like Chocolate Souffle with Whipped Cream and Hot Chocolate Sauce! Wow! I've lost 30 pounds on this eating plan, and it was very simple to follow, even at work! A big thumbs up for this book! You go, Suzanne!

Christopher Lee Rhyne Review 80

I remember “Three’s Company” with Suzanne Somers. This book explains weight loss using the recipes and smart eating habits. You’ll have to change your diet and reprogram your metabolism. Shed weight for the good of your body, have energy to do more, digest food quickly and efficiently.

Suzanne explains that “You’re the Boss”, so run your business (Your body) correctly.

Cannellini Bean Dip / Basil Pesto / Chicken Drummettes / Stuffed Tomatoes / Crunchy Cabbage Salad & lots more to discover inside book.

Colorful photos between pages 104 & 105. 16 pages I counted, very interesting. Suzanne has personal photos of her family her son Bruce, Caroline (daughter-n-law), her mother, Patrick Duffy (costar) and others throughout book. This was a very smart move to make the book more family orientated.

“Eat Great, Lose Weight” that was a quote on book cover, I rate book 5*****.
